Fabryka Okien KONAL introduces a new type of window into its offer.
The winter 2009/2010 "raised" the demand among our customers for windows with improved resistance to heat loss. Replying to the needs of our customers Fabryka Okien KONAL introduced a new product - Window PRESTIGE.
Window PRESTIGE is a product for demanding customers, taking care of the environment, but also for people thinking economically.
We offer to our customers the possibility to order a window, fulfilling the requirements of passive houses, against a small additional payment (several dozen Polish zlotys).
What does it mean and what are the benefits for the customer?
1. ECONOMY
Compared to standard new window performed on the same profile, with use of PRESTIGE window the customer may save as much as more than 50% on thermal energy saving.
The result of this are lower costs of heating the premises.
The customer gets back his/her additional payment of several dozen zlotys for PRESTIGE window as soon as he/she receives the first bill for gas during the heating season (if the settlement period is 2-months).
The savings on heating on one bill (2-months settlement period) are higher than the additional payment required for one PRESTIGE window..
2. COMFORT DURING THE WINTER
Due to even distribution of heat in the entire premises, the cold zones near the window are eliminated. Your young children or pets shall be able to seat on the windowsills even during the winter without any concern about the cold that may occur near the window pane.
3. COMFORT DURING THE SUMMER
Lower temperature in very sunny premises – special coats made of metal oxygens restrict by 32% the heat penetrating to the premises together with sunbeams. During very hot, sunny days your house shall become a safe „asylum” against the heat of the sun (this is particularly useful if you have any new-borns or persons advances in years in your house).
4. AESTHETICS
Warm distance edge in PRESTIGE windows is matched to window colour. Additionally, the thermal bridges have been eliminated – the effect of which is restriction of EFEKT condensation of water vapour on window pane edges.

2. Steel 1.50 mm in coloured and balcony windows
3. Classic frame of 73 mm width
4. Rounded sash of 84 mm width or classic sash of 73 mm width
5. Rounded glazing bead, 2-chamber
6. Gaskets welded together with profiles
7. Possibility of choosing the gasket – in grey or black colour
8. Windows in various colours, core-dyed
9. Aluminium handle HOPPE SECUSTIC with blocking mechanism
10. Integrated window pane CLIMATOP 0,6 in warm edge SGG SWISSPACER
11. Filling in the fitting groove in bottom part of the frame
12. Sub-sill profiles
13. Drain holes covers in window colour
14. WINKHAUS multi-point locking fittings
WINKHAUS fitting in PREMIUM window includes the following elements:
1. Each tilt-and-turn sash has one anti-burglar locking point
2. Microventilation in tilt-and-turn sash
3. Shutting mechanism in tilt-and-turn sash
4. Regulation of sash clamp in each locking point
5. Steel latches protecting the sash against being forced open
6. Drive gears with permanent handle position
7. Tilt sash up to 800 mm SWO (width of fitting embrasure) - corner drive gears GVK
8. Surface clamps MVA
9. Full coverage of hinges in white colour
10. Off-centre locking roll with manual clamp adjustment
11. Tilt adjustment mechanism (3 tilt positions)
12. Bad handle position blockade system when the window is open in the turn position
13. Tilt limiter or anti-slam blockade
14. The handle is always put below the middle point of the window height
15. In balcony doors with movable mullion, the sashes are openable with use of independent handles
