In this part we shall present to you general information about the profiles, fittings and types of window panes used by our Company. We also translate „to user’s language” the benefits from using our individual solutions for our customers.

The thickness of outer walls of the profiles in A class is  higher or equal 2.8 mm. This is a key parameter for protection of the householders against cold and noise, ensuring at the same time window stability and durability. Profiles with thinner walls classified to B and C class are not much resistant to damage and are show higher by 10 to 20% tendency to crack in the corners.

I. 5-chamber profile, „A” CLASS
The windows produced on 5-chamber profile Brügmann AD and AD ARTE with exterior clamp gasket are characterised by:
- profile width 73 mm (due to which the windows are wider by 20%)
- the windows are by 50% more silent, the acoustic insulation is improved by  5 dB
- increased thermal performance due to the fact that the profile has 5 chambers and 2-chamber gasket
- gaskets are welded together with profile (such solution increases the tightness of the window)
- enhanced anti-burglar safety due to fastening the fitting through four walls in the sash, in the frame, directly to steel reinforcements
- high quality of materials from which the profiles are made increases window tightness and acoustics compared to windows offered by the competitors.

Additionally:
- we apply end-caps on drain holes in the colour of the window, which gives the window exceptionally aesthetic look.
-  the customer may choose the gasket colour in case of white profile – the gaskets are offered in black and grey colour.

II. Fittings
We use fittings produced by the Company WINKHAUS, autoPilot and activPilot.  This solution guarantees to our windows the following functional features:
1. Each tilt-and-turn sash has one anti-burglar locking point
2. Microventilation in  tilt-and-turn sash
3. Shutting mechanism in tilt-and-turn sash
4. Regulation of sash clamp in each locking point
5. Steel latches protecting the sash against being forced open
6. Drive gears with permanent handle position
7. Tilt sash up to 800 mm SWO (width of fitting embrasure) -  corner drive gears GVK
8. Surface clamps MVA
9. Full coverage of hinges in white colour
10.  Off-centre locking roll with manual clamp adjustment
11. Tilt adjustment mechanism (3 tilt positions)
12.  Bad handle position blockade system when the window is open in the turn position
13. Tilt limiter or anti-slam blockade
14. The handle is always put below the middle point of the window height
15. In balcony doors with movable mullion, the sashes are openable with use of independent handles

In practice, the individual fitting elements (selected for your convenience) have the following application:
1. microventilation – allows for minimum tilt of the window enabling continuous venting of the premises, protects the premises against damp and  water vapour depositing on window panes and on the walls. Ventilation is necessary for removal of used air and water, which originate from metabolic conversion and are the product of household activities such as cooking, washing. Window replacement for tight windows decreases the air exchange level or completely prevents from it. This has unfavourable impact on gas equipment operation (there is a probability that gas water heaters in the bathrooms can turn off because of improper flow of the air) and  mildew and spores can spread. Hence, when replacing the windows you should check carefully whether the window has a microventilation feature. Due to this you will not have to remember all the time about venting the premises, microventilation shall make it for you, the problems with fogged window panes and damp in the house shall be over).
2. Hinges covers in window colour give more aesthetic look to the window, improves it visual effect.
3. Additional antiburglar catch – makes it difficult to force the window  from the frame, even if the window is in tilt position.
4. Filling the fitting groove in the bottom part of the frame prevents from getting the dirt between the fittings.
5. Variable tilt option offering three window tilt positions
6. Anti-slam blockade OR 40: protects against inert opening and closing of the window e.g. during the wind.
7. Sash lifting device together with handle rotate blockade ALS-FSS:  forces proper operation of the window. Prevents from an attempt to tilt the window when it is in open position.

The modern and functional fitting is completed with the handle. We use aluminium handles SECUSTIK- this is the handle with audible signal for easier verification of whether the sash is in proper position. SECUSTIC handles have additional security system against an attempt of opening the windows from the outside.

III. Window panes
We use standard integrated window panes filled with gas and window panes in warm edge SGG SWISSPACER (window panes k=1.0). Warm edges allow for saving up to 7% expenses for energy (relates to windows) and bring almost full removal of water vapour condensation which could deposit on the window pane in certain conditions.
The thermo insulating window pane packets consist of two window panes, of which one is the window pane with invisible layer of noble metals combination (so called low-emission coat). Thin, invisible layer lets the  light   and solar energy through to the interior, preventing at the same time from heat penetration outwards from the premises. The space between the window panes is filled with noble gas, which additionally reduces the light penetration coefficient.

The advantages of window panes used by us:
- saving thermal energy,
- lower costs of heating,
- optimum temperature in the premises,
- high light permeability,
- decreased permeability of UV radiation,
- protection of natural environment through decrease of carbon dioxide emission to the atmosphere.
