Production capability, A or B class
Production capability:
1. Monthly production of up to 2,500 windows from PVC profiles
2. Production of structures from aluminium profiles in the quantity of up to 10,000 kgs per month – based on both „hot” and „cold” profile systems.
3. Our offer includes also the following:
- performing installation at customer’s site based on our own fitters teams
- transport of purchased goods by our own specialist vehicles,
- full trade consultancy and comprehensive advice together with expert consulting.
Class A or B:
All windows produced by Fabryka Okien KONAL are made of profiles in A class.
Exterior walls of profiles in A class have a thickness higher or equal 2.8 mm. This is a key parameter for the best protection of the householders against cold and noise, ensuring at the same time window stability and durability. Profiles with thinner walls, classified to lower classes B and C do not have such high resistance to damage and show higher by 10 to 20% tendency to crack in the corners.
B class profiles are inferior to A class as regards many usable features. The most important include the following:
1. window corners are weaker by 10-20%, hence allowable maximum dimensions of the windows should be lower, and the danger of cracking of the windows in the corners is higher
2. acoustic insulation of the windows is worse by 1-4 dB, which increases the noise level in the premises
3. thermal performance of the windows is lower because of using thinner material and lower capacity of the chambers
4. antiburglar resistance of the windows can be lower since some bolts in the hinges do not penetrate the steel reinforcements installed in the window profiles (the bolt penetrate PVC). Such windows do not have the antiburglar level WK2
5. resistance to pulling out the bolts used for fixing the fittings is lower by up to 20%
6. probability of „adaptation” to stress distribution is higher. In result, the connection with permanent mullion is weaker, and the operation of the fittings is worse;
7. probability of deformations in the window frames after glazing is higher
Taking all above mentioned elements into consideration, we would like to inform you that all the windows produced by Fabryka Okien KONAL are made of profiles in A class.
